Gary Avis — A Celebration

This painting explores the many characters and costumes that have defined his career, bringing us to his latest incarnation as a florist.
At its centre, Gary appears as the ringmaster, holding a bouquet of flowers — a nod both to the traditional flowers presented at the end of a performance and to the beginning of a beautiful new chapter in his life.
