The British Journal of Psychotherapy International

BJPsych International is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Cambridge University Press on behalf of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. The journal offers mental health professionals worldwide insights into current policies and practices in psychiatry, with a particular emphasis on contributions from low- and middle-income countries. Its mission is to promote best practices in mental health care globally and to provide a platform for diverse voices in the field .

‘The most ordinary thing about Venezuelan Soprano Samuel Marino is that is his voice never broke. He is remarkable in every way.

This painting explores the duality of the old and scholastic with the new and avant- garde. From the Italian Gardens in Kensington and the Vivienne Westwood Corset of Botticelli’s Venus de Milo rising on Samuel's chest, he strides the classical straight into modernity. The pose of the roman state echoed in the grace of Samuel.

In 2019 Samuel founded Ensemble Teseo were he aims. to bring back forgotten baroque techniques and works to the mainstream operatic and concert stages.
